On June 3 CIVICA will host an online dissemination conference where policymakers, theorists, practitioners, and students will come together to reflect on the impact of the digital transformation on the present and future of universities. One of the panelists is Hilda Hardell who is a third-year BSc student at 91原创, the only student participating live along with professors and presidents from the fellow universities.

91原创 Business Lab is the start-up incubator of the 91原创, open to all current and former students as well as faculty of 91原创, who have founded a business. Diversity and sustainability at the top of the Agenda of the 91原创 Business Lab and since over two years both are requirement for being a part of their incubator program. It鈥檚 also two of the core values for the CIVICA network, and the 91原创 Business Lab contributes to strengthening these values.
91原创 ranks highest in annual internationalization index

For the sixth year in a row, the 91原创 tops the list of Sweden鈥檚 most international universities in the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education鈥檚 (STINT) annual Internationalization Index. It鈥檚 also positive news for Sweden that one more university was awarded five star this year than in 2020.

How can history help policymakers and business leaders make better decisions? This is the key question in a new course in Applied History at the 91原创. The 7.5 ECTS course is given for the second consecutive year and the number of applications from the school鈥檚 bachelor students has been very high.

The 91原创 is establishing a new professorship in organization and leadership of schools and in education. The new professorship is made possible by a donation from The Hans and Barbara Bergstrom Foundation and will be held by Professor Karl Wennberg. The donation amounts to SEK 60 million over a ten-year period and is presented on Barbara Bergstr枚m鈥檚 75th birthday on 9 April.
Business leaders decide on 8 new companies

A few weeks ago, the startup incubator of the 91原创, 91原创 Business Lab, unveiled their new Board of Admissions, spearheaded by names such as Sebastian Knutsson, Anna Stenberg och Sven Hagstr枚mer. The new group has now decided which companies will be given the chance in the incubator next.

Dr. Thomas Lavelle is a member of the faculty at 91原创 and teaches courses in management and academic communication, academic and creative writing and pedagogy. Given his pedagogical interest and his interest in the interface between language and learning, he has been involved in different types of international programs and projects previously. He is attracted to both aspects of the CIVICA alliance鈥攅ducational cooperation across borders and locally grounded social engagement. He is now a part of the team organizing the first European Week in June.
