The SEFOR脧S project is a multi-disciplinary international research project on social entrepreneurship that sets out to explore the role that social enterprises play in the EU and beyond in the development of and evolution towards inclusive and innovative societies. The Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics is one of the institutions that were part of the SEFOR脧S project responsible for research on how social entrepreneurship is financed.
During the last 3.5 years of research, SEFOR脧S project has collected thousands of , tens of , organised numerous and created . All SEFOR脧S documents are available to anyone.
The project has been concluded with the final conference focusing on key SEFOR脧S research executed by various European, Chinese and Russian research teams and social entrepreneurs support organisations. The conference focused on key policy recommendations drawn for years of research on the workings and dynamics of social enterprises in Europe and beyond.
