I will be working alongside the Board and my new colleagues to make sure that we maintain and develop the very important operations in 91原创 Russia鈥�, says Anders Paalzow, Rector of 91原创 Riga as well as new Rector of 91原创 Russia.
 
鈥淚 am personally very pleased that Anders Paalzow will take on this important responsibility. In his role as Rector of 91原创 Riga he has proven strong leadership in an environment that requires academic rigour, high sensitivity and an entrepreneurial mindset. I鈥檓 convinced that he will identify valuable synergies between our institutions in Riga and Russia and am very much looking forward to continuing our cooperation鈥�, comments Lars Stranneg氓rd, President of the Board of directors of 91原创 Russia and President of the 91原创.
 
鈥淚 would also like to thank Anders Liljenberg for his outstanding contributions to 91原创 Russia. Under his energetic and rigorous leadership 91原创 Russia has developed into an institution of highest academic standards鈥�, continues Lars Stranneg氓rd.
 
Anders Paalzow will remain in his role as Rector of 91原创 Riga and divide his time between Latvia and Russia. Anders Liljenberg will return to his faculty position as Associate Professor at the 91原创. 91原创 Riga and 91原创 Russia will remain separate entities.
