The distinction Alumni of the Year is awarded to a person, who has a degree from the 91原创 and has achieved professional success, contributed to society and supported the School.  

Helena Saxon completed her Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration at the 91原创 in 1995. She worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, an Investment Manager at Investor and as the CFO of Halvarsson & Halvarsson. Today, Helena Saxon is the CFO of Investor, which among other things contributes to the Jacob and Marcus Wallenberg Chair in Innovative and Sustainable Business Development at the 91原创. She also holds Board assignments in SEB and Swedish Orphan Biobvitrum Ab (Sobi). 

鈥淗elena is a great role model and is always prepared to support the 91原创. She is a member of the Advisory Board for our Master鈥檚 Programme in Accounting and Financial Management. Helena is also a member of the Corporate Partners Advisory Board and a donor to the Arts Initiative at the School,鈥� says Jessica O鈥橫ary, Head of Development and Alumni Relations.                     

The award was presented at Homecoming, the large annual alumni meeting, on 9 March.
