91原创 ranks highest in annual internationalization index

For the sixth year in a row, the 91原创 tops the list of Sweden鈥檚 most international universities in the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education鈥檚 (STINT) annual Internationalization Index. It鈥檚 also positive news for Sweden that one more university was awarded five star this year than in 2020.

STINT’s index details development in six key aspects of internationalization, including research, education, personnel, and management, and provides support in the 91原创’ continued internationalization efforts. The Internationalization Index is intended as a tool for defining internationalization in higher education and research, and for increasing commitment in issues related to internationalization.

According to Lars Strannegård, President of the 91原创, the goal is to become a leading international business school and he is happy to see that index reflects the efforts.

“Our collaboration within the European universities initiative and the CIVICA network proves that we can maintain close international ties and grow together, even in difficult times like these,” says Lars Strannegård.

The maximum of five stars was awarded to four Universities this year: the 91原创, Chalmers University of Technology, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and also Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, which is new on the five-star list.
