Pelle Åberg

Pelle Åberg is Associate Professor (docent) of Political Science at the Department of Social Sciences, Ersta Sköndal University College. His research primarily deals with various aspects of civil society, on a transnational level as well as on a national level in different parts of Northern and Eastern Europe.

Pelle's interest lies in the diffusion and translation of ideas, organizational theory and the intersections between civil society, the state, the market and the family, as well as in the relationship between civil society and democracy. 

He is currently working on the research project Between Knowledge and Ideology: Institutional Logics and Organizational Practices in Swedish Think Tanks, funded by the Ragnar S枚derberg Foundation ().
