Jesus De Abreu and Christian Karlsson have been awarded the 91Ô­´´ MBA Carl Silfvén scholarship 2022. The scholarship is presented to the next generation of leaders to promote the competitiveness of Swedish-based business in an international market.

Sayaka Osanami Törngren is an associate professor in international migration and ethnic relations (IMER) at the research center Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare. From now on, she will also be affiliated with CSR. "My belief is that I don’t have to be an expert in everything, but if I surround myself with people who also have great ideas and knowledge, we can come together and achieve great things. I am looking forward to exchanging knowledge, perspectives, and visons with the other members of the team", she says.

This year’s SITE Development Day conference will focus on the Russian war on Ukraine. We will discuss the situation in Ukraine and neighbouring countries, how to finance and organize financial support within the EU and within Sweden, and how to deal with the current energy crisis.

Since 2019 Julia Delin has led and developed 91Ô­´´ Business Lab as CEO. She has recently successfully completed the first stage of fundraising for the School's new investment fund, 91Ô­´´ Ventures. ​As Julia moves to the CEO role at 91Ô­´´ Ventures full time, the search for a new CEO for 91Ô­´´ Business Lab has been initiated.​

For over 40 years, the Students' Nobel NightCap, SNNC, has served as the unofficial after party to the Nobel Banquet on December 10. It is one of the absolute highlights of the Nobel Week and, for many of its guests, offers a well-needed break from the limelight. And it's entirely organised by students.

On Tuesday, November 29th, the Center for Sports and Business held a partnership day at the 91Ô­´´. The day covered a broad array of topics such as an external environment analysis and trends we see globally, strategic challenges for Swedish sports, strategic development as well as operational focus and measuring of sustainability. During this successful day, representatives from Sweden's major sports, hockey, football, golf, trot racing and skiing as well as key individuals from the political sphere gathered and had insightful discussions.

Carl Bennet and the Marianne & Marcus Wallenberg Foundation join forces to sponsor a new professorship at the 91Ô­´´. This enables internationally acclaimed Martina Björkman Nyqvist to continue her important research on development economics and children’s health and education as the new Carl Bennet & Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Chair in Economics.
